Born in theSbata neighborhood.Known as "04."
Ber-Arab: Berber from Tafraout in the Atlas Mountains and Arab from Taounate in the Rif Mountains. Born in Casablanca in the iconic Sbata neighborhood — known as "04." That place shaped me, whether I wanted it or not. It prepared me for a long journey through other Moroccan cities — Rabat, Agadir, El Jadida — before curiosity pulled me toward new adventures in Southeast Asia: India, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Indonesia.
It all started at a very young age, joining a printing equipment repair company called AMIGRAPH where some of my family members were involved — summer odd jobs, cleaning, taking inventory. Around the same time, my mom bought a desktop computer and handed an uncle, also an AMIGRAPH technician, the task of setting it up. He left behind a CD case with copies of Adobe Photoshop and the Macromedia suite — Dreamweaver & Flash. And that's where it all began.
A man named Youssef El Hodaigui walked into the cyber café. That was my first gig — 30 USD for a homepage.
The beginning, Casablanca
30 dollars.One homepage.Everything changed.
A few months later, I dropped out of my Physics and Chemistry studies at the university to divide my time between the local cyber café, my small job at AMIGRAPH handling printing machines, film development, and more. Until one day, a man named Youssef El Hodaigui came into the cyber café and asked the owner if he knew anyone who was good with Photoshop. That was my first gig; I earned 30 USD for designing the homepage of an Arabic content portal, aarabiah.net. This was back when portals like Maktoob, msn and Yahoo were popular…
That's how I joined Khidma.net, his web agency, and began working on its websites and publishing portals. At that time, our primary business model was Google AdSense, which was a completely new approach and incredibly profitable… until the day when one of his friends — co-owner of the famous Startimes forums — contacted us with a mission to redesign the highly influential newspaper “Al-Hayat” in Saudi Arabia. However, this project was shelved in 2007 due to the war in Iraq…
Over the next ten years, I embraced the Khidma company tagline as a motto: “Whatever it takes, we deliver.”
Discipline over motivation.Consistency over talent.
Mehdi Ayache — a principle carried forward
Mentors.Startups.Hard lessons.
Throwing me into business and creative adventures I never saw coming. I found myself in the company of some real Gods in marketing, management, and sales — think Youssef El-Houdaigui, Chaadi Benkchekroun, Salah Benzakour, Yassine Kechchani, Mehdi Najeddine… among others. These aren't just any leaders; they opened doors for me, pulled up a chair for me in meetings with big decision-makers across different fields. They even let me have my word and put me in charge of some high-impact projects.
The learning I've done at their side? It's stuff you can't get from a textbook. Every step of this unexpected journey has deepened my learning and — I've got to say — it was hard, hardship… but I'm grateful for it all.

Each one a school. Each one a scar. Each one worth it.
"I can't forget the talented people I've shared the entrepreneurial and creative grind with. Together, we navigated challenges, created meaningful work, and learned from each other's expertise in architecture, photography, design, and beyond. Some are now launching new ventures, building on the lessons we gained through those intense years. A special mention to Oussama Rhaleb, Jawhar Kodadi, Salim Essbane, Mohammed Rahmo, and Houcine Boutam — each one brought a unique perspective that shaped how I approach creativity and business today."

The Big Idea
Inspired by visionaries like George Lois and his concept of the BIG IDEA, I always keep his essence in mind when I'm working. I believe creativity has the power to revolutionize and shape the world. I'm dedicated to delivering impactful solutions and creating experiences that make a difference… identifying problems and solving them at their core.
“All the tools in the world are meaningless without an essential idea.”
…An artist, or advertising man, or anyone involved in a creative industry (or even noncreative professions such as a doctor, lawyer, electrician, factory worker, or president) without an idea, is unarmed. In the graphic arts, when that original idea springs out of a creative's head and intuitions, the mystical and artful blending (or even juxtaposition) of concept, image, words, and art can lead to magic, where one and one can indeed be three.
George Lois — Damn Good Advice (for People with Talent)Bali.VORVN.One operator.
This mindset led me to create VORVN — an autonomous, independent IP & brand design house. Registered in Hong Kong as my IP holding, and run from my incubator studio in Bali, where I now live.
VORVN designs, builds, tests and owns AI-native, digital-first brands end-to-end, under one operator. This time I'm investing not into client work, but into what I've always wanted to build — moving from designer to full-stack founder, focusing every bit of energy on ideas with the potential to scale and leave a lasting impact.
